'Ready Player One' is a 2018 sci-fi action movie directed by Steven Spielberg. According to Wikipedia, "Set in 2045, much of humanity uses the OASIS, a virtual reality simulation, to escape the real world. The orphaned Wade Watts finds clues to a contest that promises the ownership of the OASIS to the winner, and he and four allies try to complete it before a corporation run by businessman Nolan Sorrento can do so."
One of the many features that this movie is know for is many of pop culture references scattered through out like from 'Back To The Future', 'The Shining', 'The Iron Giant' and such (Yes, you read that right, 'The Shining'!)
It has JUST been brought to our attention there's one more on the movie's pop culture reference list that has not been noticed before....Xanadu!
It is not known when or where in Read Player One this comes up, though.
